Background
Hellenic Cables completed another contract for Denmark’s Transmission System Operator Energinet, delivering the complete supply of a 145 kV cable system connecting Amager Power Plant (AMV) to Svanemølle substation (SMK) in Denmark. According to Energinet, the project contributes to a climate-neutral supply chain.
Technical Information & Execution
Hellenic Cables was responsible for the design, manufacturing, supply and transportation of about 11 km of 145 kV, XLPE insulated submarine cables. The scope of works includes also the supply of related accessories and supervision works.
The cables were manufactured in Hellenic Cables’ state-of-the-art submarine cable production plant in Corinth, Greece, a world-class manufacturing facility for high and extra-high voltage submarine cables for offshore applications.
