Honorable mention for the contribution of Hellenic Cables to the blood bank of the Corinth General Hospital.

At Hellenic Cables, the cables segment of Cenergy Holdings, in the submarine cable plant in Corinth, Greece, a special event was held during the annual pie cutting. The Director of Blood Donation of the Corinth General Hospital, Mrs. Christina Pappa, attended to honor and thank the company for its great contribution to the local community.

The Hellenic Cables employees have collected a significant number of units of blood through the blood drives organized annually, highlighting the value of humanity and solidarity in our society. With more than 800 units of blood in total stock in the last decade and at least 200 units within the previous year, the employees of Hellenic Cables stand out from the most significant blood donation clubs in the prefecture of Corinthia.

Christina Pappa, Blood Donation Director of the Corinth General Hospital, said: “The Corinth plant of Hellenic Cables is an excellent example of a business in the modern environment that creates value not only financially but also contributes to social improvement through voluntary blood donations. The real winners are the patients; each unit can save up to 3 lives.
