Submarine Cable Supply Contract by Ørsted

Hellenic Cables was responsible for the design, manufacturing and testing of the 33 kV Inter-array cables.

Hellenic Cables, a leading provider of turnkey cable solutions for the offshore wind industry, has been awarded a contract to supply 23km of subsea cable to Ørsted, the global leader in offshore wind. Hellenic Cables undertook the design, manufacturing and testing of 33 kV inter-array submarine cable. The cable is intended for use as spares within the Orsted portfolio of offshore wind farms across the UK.

The cables were produced at the state-of-the-art integrated facility in Corinth, Greece. This contract was successfully completed in 2020.
